Cetaphil Cleanser has been a household name for years now because it’s known as a gentle cleanser for sensitive skin (and all skin-types for that matter). It is also the cleanser that dermatologists would recommend for pimple congested skin.
The product claims:
- Mild, non-irritating formula
- Softens as it cleans
- Non-comedogenic/fragrance free
- Dermatologist recommended
- Soothing, non irritating cleanser ideal for face, hands and body
- Helps skin retain needed moisture
- Rinses easily and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and healthy
- Mild enough to cleanse a baby’s delicate skin
I only started using this for a week and one thing to note is that this cleanser is mild therefore it did not irritate my skin like other cleansers do. Plus it didn’t dry my skin as well, it left my face feeling smooth and supple.
It doesn’t clog pores either therefore zero break-out. But I suppose results will vary to every person’s skin situation.
One thing I noticed is that it doesn’t create any foam, so it’s just like smoothing a clear lotion onto my skin. It washes easily as well.
Also, it’s fragrance free, so if you’re sensitive to the floral and fruity scent most washes have, this one doesn’t have any scent at all.
However, my only qualm is that it’s not adept at removing make-up, so I have to either double wash or use a make-up remover prior to washing.
Over-all, it’s a pretty nice daily cleanser. So, if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin best to switch to Cetaphil Cleanser!
I also found out that there is a new Sensitive Skin Bay at Watsons in Pavilion KL. It is really cool cause now I can easily identify what I need without going through the whole store!
Also after checking through Cetaphil Malaysia’s FB page to find out more, I also saw that they were doing a special promotion at this store. The promo is until today where the first 100 fans who purchase anything from this showcase can receive a Cetaphil sample kit!
There’s also a FB promo happening now with great giveaways – all you have to do is tag a friend and share why you love Cetaphil. You can find out more here: http://snip.li/CetaphilRC1
