Care For Eyes Campaign By Bausch & Lomb Raised RM 8,800 for MAB

A few months ago Bausch and Lomb initiated a “Care For Your Eyes” campaign with the purpose of spreading awareness on proper eye care while raising funds for the Malaysian Association for the Blind, with Bausch and Lomb pledging to donate RM 5 for each video posted on Facebook to the MAB.

Facebook users were encouraged to post a short video of themselves doing an eye exercise with the hashtags #bauschandlombmalaysia  & #careforyoureyes. Local celebrities such as model Amber Chia and Youtuber Joyce Chu participated in the this fun activity.

The 2-month campaign, which ran from August 11 to September 30, 2015, garnered RM 8,800! Jake Kim, Managing Director of Bausch + Lomb (Singapore and Malaysia) handed over the cheque to Dr. S.Radha Krishnan, Vice President of MAB. The Cheque Presentation ceremony was held at the Bausch & Lomb Malaysia HQ.

With this, we managed to give back to the society while educating the masses on how they can better take care of their eye health.
