Since I live in PJ, I usually pass by this place after grocery shopping and going to the gym. For some reason, Ramen Ten intrigues me and hoped that one day I will be able to do a food review of this place. Imagine my delight when I got invited to check out their menu. So the question here now is… are the dishes in Ramen Ten good?
Upon entering the restaurant, I already felt the Japanese-y vibe. The place is fresh and inviting, everything was clean and organized.
I was having a blast watching this conveyor belt sushi (hahaha)… reminded me of some scenes from the J-Dorama and anime I was watching…
Service wise, I have to say that their manager is very accommodating and their staff are friendly.
Now, let’s move on to the food!
1. Soft Shell Crab & Salmon Skin Salad (RM23.90)
Very delightful! I love the combination of the leafy veggies with the soft shell crab, it was rather sweet and I love the crunch!
2. Gyoza (RM10.90)
This is definitely my favorite. Soft and the meat inside is tender.
3. Special Salmon Roll (RM17.90)
I find this a unique kind of salmon roll, but how the topping tasted coupled with the roll itself was sublime, really flavorful.
4. Spicy Salmon (RM16.90)
If you can handle spicy then this is for you. The fish meat is nice and tender but really spicy.
5. Special Beef Maki (RM27.90)
I love the plating and the sauce added up to the taste… yummm.
6. Super Spicy Ramen (RM16.75)
Not for the faint hearted! I find this really HOT, like spicy hot… but oh so good! I just can’t stop eating it despite the spiciness.
7. Chicken Teriyaki Ramen (RM17.90)
Sort of typical ramen for me, nothing to rave about.
8. Honey Chicken Karaage Dry Ramen (RM14.90)
I love this too, the noodles are not overcooked and very well blended with the sauce… oh my just thinking about this now is making my mouth water.
9. Teppan Salmon & Agedashi Tofu Set (RM24.90)
Filling combo, great set for the hungry hippos… then again not my cup of tea.
10. Deluxe Combo Set (RM28.90)
Ahhh, the set of champions! I so much love the rice partnered with that nice crunchy tempura plus that fresh temaki… more please!
11. Soft Shell Crab Karaage (RM20.90)
The ala-carte version of the salad earlier. Imagine eating this with the sweet sesame sauce… sweet crunchy goodness, fried to perfection. I never enjoyed soft shell crab this much before.
12. Honey Chicken Karaage (RM11.90)
Sweet and flavorful…
So, to answer my previous question if RAMEN TEN was any good… why yes, they do have nice sets and dishes that made me wanna come for more. Definitely going back for the soft shelled crabs!
