Ever wanted to shed off unwanted fats on target areas? I do. It has come to a point where I was seeing bulges on my tummy and cellulites on my legs… I felt horrible!
I got really bothered so I went looking for a painless yet effective to procedure to help me with my goal.
Thankfully, I was invited at Contours Body Design Studio in Megamall to check out Laserfit. I was given 6 sessions to try it out.
It’s a non-surgical procedure coupled with a diet and exercise program that aims to help clients to not only get rid of unwanted fats but lose weight as well.
Laserfit is a holistic approach to weight loss and body contouring. This is a combination of non-invasive full body cold laser exposure to melt fat, 10 minute interval training workout to burn fats and proper nutritional recommendations.
I was taken to a room where I was measured by their therapist. I started with the following measurements:
Below breast area – 27.5
Upper Tummy – 29
Middle Tummy – 30.9
Lower Tummy – 32.3
Right Thigh – 21.5
Left Thigh – 21.5
My concerns were my tummy and legs so we focused on those.
I was made to lay down in a bed. On my right side was a big machine. A funny looking laser device was then placed on top of my target areas. The laser device reminded me of Dr. Octopus (Spiderman villain).
I was under the laser device for approximately 40 minutes, 20 minutes front then 20 minutes back.
It was literally painless since the device barely touched me and there were just lasers encircling around my problem areas, I found it rather relaxing actually.
Cold Laser (Zerona) exposure releases fat from the body for 3 days. Daily 10 minute workouts are recommended to burn fats, trim down and lose weight.
After the laser treatment I was then taken to another room to work out for 10 minutes. There was an exercise video I had to follow.
Afterwards, they made me step on this vibrating machine called Vibralift. It was actually pretty cool and fun. I really felt the burn while I felt my fats vibrating and jiggling. According to my research, 10 minutes in this machine is actually equivalent to 30 minutes of cardio workout! (NOTE: You have to bring your work-out clothes and rubber shoes for this part of the program)
Finally, I was given a small booklet with the recommended diet and exercise program that I can follow to help with the progress.
After the first and second session, there wasn’t really any immediate or noticeable change. But after the third when I measured myself, there was a slight improvement on my tummy, not so noticeable but enough to show that there was progress. I continued with the program partnered with proper diet and exercise until my 6th and final session.
They made me go back a week after the final session. Improvement was okay, I lost 2 inches in my tummy and the cellulites on my legs have lessened. The changes weren’t very drastic after 6 sessions but there were indeed improvements.

Do note that this is non-surgical unlike the liposuction so do not expect immediate and drastic results. Patience and discipline are the keys here. You also have to continue working out and stick to your healthy diet to maintain and continue with the progress. 6 sessions may not be enough for me, but progress depends on every individual.
