I remembered attending Scream Park Manila 2 years ago in PH and I was wondering if they have something similar here in Malaysia. I wanted to go to one since Halloween is fast approaching.
And guess what? There is one at Sunway Lagoon Theme Park!
Just recently, I got invited to go the Nights of Fright 3: Festival of Fear, which will be running from October 1 to October 31, 2o15, every Thursday to Saturday from 7:30pm to 11:30pm only at Sunway Lagoon. The fun theme park is currently transformed into a terrifying venue full of horrifying monsters, scary zones and mazes! And the entrance fee is only RM 58!
Upon entering the venue we were greeted by lots of fearsome characters who were scaring the hell out of me.
We first went to the Sadako Dori zone where we met Japan’s creepiest character, Sadako.
Then we went to the Hollywood 1 attraction where we witnessed a blood-curdling short film and went straight to Hollywood 2 maze where we went through a nerve-racking maze of scary replicas of Hollywood Horror movies.
After which, we went to the Scream Park maze, featuring the Kevil Hill, a cryonic vision of the future gone dangerously wrong. My favorite part of that maze is the 3D visions of the monsters on the wall.
There were other hair-raising zones like the Terrortory-X with the “Escape from Pudu” maze and the TOXIC maze, which I sadly missed out.
Apart from visiting the horror houses we also got to experience the fun rides the theme park is known for. My favorite is the Pirate’s Revenge!
So, if you want a frighteningly fun Halloween treat with your family, friends and love one, I suggest you bring them with you to experience the Nights of Fright 3.
“Nights of Fright 3” is created and directed by Lynton V. Harris.
