Bars and pubs in the metro are always abuzz with loud music blaring in the background, thus talking with friends over beer has become burdensome. However, there are still a few chill spots that will allow you to catch up with friends without having to shout at each other over the loud sounds. The Brewery at the Palace is one them.
This bar resto has all the recipe to a perfect hang-out due its relaxing ambience, good food and great tasting beer.
Their very own signature beer are the highlights of this pub. All of their beer are brewed in their microbrewery therefore patrons are served with fresh beer every single time.
They have quite a selection of freshly brewed beer, but their sellers are their four artisanal beers:
- Weissbier (PHP 200 – 300ml, PHP 280 – 500ml)
- Pilsner (PHP 180 – 300ml, PHP 250 – 500ml)
- IPA (PHP 200 – 300ml, PHP 310 – 500ml)
- Stout (PHP 210 – 300ml, PHP 290 – 500ml)
I was able to try some of the tasty food in their menu and they were all gastronomic delights.
Their food offerings are a variety of global cuisines from Indian to Indonesian dishes with some beer-infused food selections.
For the pasta we were able to try the Truffle Bacon Mac and Cheese (PHP 480), which is the most delicious mac and cheese I tasted so far.
Then we tried the Microbrewery Beer Cheese Pizza (PHP 450).
For the mains we had the Beef Rendang (PHP 550) and the Chicken Tikka Masala (PHP 420).
And of course our beer will not be complete without the perfect beer partners so we ordered some of their pub grubs, the Taco Platter (PHP 580)
… and my new fave, the Shrimp and Chicken Gyoza (PHP 320).
