I wanted to spend a fun and engaging trip with my parents and siblings after being away from them for more than a year. Then I heard that Paradizoo was having a Livestock festival all weekend from January 9 to March 31 so I decided to take my family there.
We had a little stop-over at the Paradizoo café and were immediately welcomed by the coordinators of the zoo. After checking out the cute animal plushies and buying me a cute lioness stuffed toy, our tour guide patiently guided us through the huge place.
First stop was the ”feeding area” of the livestock where we got to feed the camels, goats, guinea pigs, parakeets, ponies, donkeys, rabbits and the cute ostrich.
I was so thrilled to see a real live ostrich up close so I had to take a photo-op with it.
Up next, was the den where they keep all the livestocks they are selling. I wanted to buy me a baby goat! Hahaha!
Then I got to check out their 5-legged cow named Voltes 5.
We later went straight to the flowers and plants farm, which was so heavenly. They got all sorts of plants and flowers that you can also buy.
The place looks like paradise!
After taking lots of photos with the colorful display of flowers, we went inside their butterfly farm. And I got to see butterflies mate.
Then I got mesmerized at the bee farm, where I got to check out the bees stock nectars in their nests.
Paradizoo also has a meditation area and a pet cemetery. Our guide told us that guests often come there just to bury their dead pets.
At the end of the tour, we all learned out and enjoyed the simple yet interactive trip. I would definitely recommend that you take your family or friends over for a quick trip around Paradizoo.
